The bike’s structure is made of durable steel tubing. The main chassis is a single piece. The seat base is directly welded to the frame. The fully assembled unit weighs about 70lbs. This makes it quite stable.
The compact bike cannot be folded, but it does not take up too much floor space. It is recommended that you allow at least two feet of clearance on each side of the bike, and at least one foot of clearance ant the front and back of the bike.
You will appreciate the ease of mounting the bike, with the step-through design. There are transportation wheels on the front of the bike if you ever need to move the bike.
Seat and Desk
The oversized, extra-thick 3.3” air soft seat will give you hours of comfortable sitting. Aerodynamic technology has your comfort in mind, allowing air to breathe through the fabric.
The backrest adjusts to 3 angles to support your back while exercising. The slider seat adjusts to accommodate people from 5’ to 6’ in height. Soft-grip handlebars are placed about seat level.
The beauty of the large (24”x16”) fully adjustable desk, is that it has a 44 lb weight capacity and slides forward or backward. It also has 7 angle adjustments from 0 Degrees to 30 Degrees as well as adjustments for the height of the desk. There is a padded arm rest on the desk for your comfort while using the desk.
Resistance and Drive
The bike comes with a manual magnetic resistance drive. What that means is it does not require an external power source. The internal magnetic flywheel is connected to the tension knob. It is there for you to adjust the tension resistance you want for pedaling.
There are 14 levels of resistance, from the very lightest resistance to a higher, more intense workout. This bike would provide good light to medium-intensity, low-impact cardio training.
Like most magnetic resistance exercise bikes, this has a belt drivetrain. This makes very smooth and quiet pedaling.
The small exercise meter indicates time, distance, speed, calories, odometer, and scan. With the App you can track these and keep a history of them on your Android or iOS mobile device.
Assembly and Maintenance
The bike is delivered in two boxes. Be alert that they might not both arrive in the mail on the same day.
While not complicated to assemble, it will be necessary to attach the base bars, the seat, the console, the desktop, and the pedals to the main body of the pre-assembled bike. The manual provides clear assembly instructions. All the required tools for assembly are included.
Maintenance is not extensive. Occasionally remove the dust and inspect for loose parts that need to be re-tightened.
