Hi Stephanie, and thanks for stopping by with a comment! I found it interesting that the European journal of clinical nutrition and the pharmacist in the YouTube both gave a medical opinion about it. It was not a non-medical opinion that someone had.
If you have a medical condition, it is always safest to work with your healthcare provider, and keep track of your own blood sugar levels also.
Hi, I’m pleased to read about the advantages of apple cider vinegar. I had no idea it could aid with blood sugar management, enhance blood cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, and treat obesity. This is truly fantastic news to hear. I’m also glad to learn how apple cider vinegar is produced. Knowing that it can help with eczema, GERD, and oral thrush makes it even more desirable. Thank you for informing us that ACV should not be consumed straight or in big quantities.
Excellent article.
Hi Lionel, thanks for stopping by with a comment! I found it interesting that there are scientific studies to show the efficacy of those claims. Some things like eczema, GERD, and oral thrush, may be home remedies, but when science stands behind lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, and obesity, that makes a stronger argument for the case.
I found it particularly interesting in the YouTube of the pharmacist, that after using apple cider vinegar it lowered his cholesterol levels that were previously always high.
Great article, and I have seen a lot lately on how good apple cider vinegar is for weight loss. I tried it for a few days in a glass of water but the taste was awful.
Do you know of a better way of drinking this so that it is more palatable?
As I was reading all the other benefits in your article that I wasn’t even aware of, I was glad to see that Apple Cider Vinegar comes in capsule form, so I think I will definitely try this method and hopefully it will be easier to take and just as beneficial.
Hi Michel, thanks for stopping by with a comment. I do agree that the taste leaves something to be desired. When I was first introduced to drinking apple cider vinegar in water, it was used as a tonic. It was not the best tasting either. I was told to put 1 to 2 Tablespoons full of Apple Cider Vinegar in a quart jar, add 1 tsp ginger, with some stevia, and fill the jar with water. This was to be sipped throughout the day. If you sip it through a straw it should do less damage to the enamel on your teeth.
I do know some who want the benefit of Apple Cider Vinegar and use capsule or pill form as an alternative way of taking it.
Apple cider vinegar has so many health benefits indeed! I myself take some everyday! I drink some every morning in a big glass of water. It does help with weight management.
